Fourth day: Saturday

Just before leaving in the morning we realised we had not documented our camp site. After spending almost the entire Friday in rain and strong winds, these small mountain beech treas gave a feeling of protection.

The hike was rather peaceful and uneventful after the intense previous day. As it turned out, we followed the same route back into Sweden as the Swedish army used some 280 years ago: After a failed attempt to invade the Nowegian city of Trondheim an Swedish army followed this route through the mountains during a three day snowstorm. Approximately two thirds of the 5000 men died in this disaster.
